A well-planned attack turns to dross. The Snow Leopard was well concealed behind a rock and nicely placed just above the grazing Ibex. It peeps out from behind a rock but the Ibex sees it and for just those five seconds, everything is still. Both animals are in shock! The Snow Leopard that it's plan has been exposed. The Ibex because it is realizes the grave danger it's in... Then the chase begins, but it's over within a few seconds. The Ibex is more fleet-footed on the steep cliff-face and rocks while the Snow Leopard realizes the hunt is in vain, and both go their own way. What fantastic drama from the high Himalaya!
