An extraordinary spectacle unfolds in the desert village of Khichan, Rajasthan, as thousands of Demoiselle Cranes (Anthropoides virgo), locally known as Kurja or Koonj, gather at their renowned wintering grounds. This annual migration transforms the quiet village into one of India's most celebrated birdwatching destinations.
