A pair of Red-wattled Lapwing is observed walking across a green grassy area in Wilderness Orchard. The birds remain in close proximity while moving through the ground vegetation. During the sequence, one lapwing briefly climbs onto the back of the other, a behavior commonly associated with courtship and mating. Red-wattled Lapwings are widespread across India and are known for their bold black, white, and brown plumage, red facial wattles, and loud calls.
