Perched on a swaying branch in the heart of the wilderness, a male Purple Sunbird (Cinnyris asiaticus) stands alert, as if preparing for its next aerial adventure. Though it appears black at first glance, the sunlight reveals a hidden treasure—an iridescent cloak shimmering with shades of purple, blue, and emerald green. The wind breathes through the tree, causing the branches to tremble and dance.
