Cute sight of the barbet picking a piece of wood chip off its belly, and throwing it away! Does it have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder? A cacophony of bird calls in the Delhi summers, a Coppersmith Barbet (Psilopogon haemacephalus) gets to scouting a broken trunk. Watch the bird dig on the bark, test the wood and go around the trunk before settling in the underside. The barbet pecks on the wood with its rather large beak.
