A Coppersmith Barbet, Psilopogon haemacephalus, sits upright on a thin tree branch, repeatedly looking around in an alert and agitated manner. Its bright green plumage contrasts with the red patch on its forehead and throat, while yellow markings around the eyes add to its distinctive appearance. The bird’s stout body, large head and heavy bill are clearly visible as it remains perched among the branches. Other birds can be heard chirping in the background, creating a natural woodland soundscape.
