Cute yuhina couple from the Himalaya! The Black-chinned Yuhina (Yuhina nigrimenta) is a bird species in the white-eye family Zosteropidae. It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, as well as subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Source - Wikipedia The Black-chinned Yuhina is distributed from northern India along the foothills of the Himalayas to central and southern China, Myanmar and Indochina. It is found in broadleaved evergreen forest at between 300 and 2,300 metres. The smallest yuhina at about 10cm (4 inches) it has black lores and chin and a black crest with grey streaks.
