Inside a hollow tree trunk, a Coppersmith Barbet quietly rests in its nest. Only its bright face and curious eyes appear as it looks outside, carefully checking its surroundings. For a few moments, it stays still—alert and watchful. Then, in a sudden burst of energy, the barbet flies out of the nest, heading off to collect food, holding it securely in its strong beak. This brief moment shows the daily rhythm of a devoted bird—protecting its nest and gathering food with perfect timing.
