The novel coronavirus has caused unprecedented losses in life and businesses. It has also changed the everyday routines in life globally. In India also the reverse migration is one of the biggest like no one has ever seen. For the migrants back to their own home states and villages from cities and urban areas, special quarantine centres are instituted for the returnees to isolate them from local population to prevent community transmission. This has been filmed by one of the inmates in one of the quarantine centres in Odisha. The ambiance of birds chirping under the canopy of palm fronds, birds in the campus of the centre, flowers and even pets. Inmnates can be seen drawing water or just relaxing under the shade.
