A flock of Brown-headed Gulls (Chroicocephalus brunnicephalus) gathers on the sandy shores of Rushikulya Beach in Odisha, India, one of the world's most important mass nesting grounds for Olive Ridley sea turtles. The gulls, with their pale gray and white plumage, red-orange bills, and bright legs, rest and forage across the expansive golden sands of this ecologically significant coastline. Among the flock stands a solitary crow, a common scavenger along India's eastern coast.
