Rain drizzling in the middle of monsoon at a village in Odisha. Bony and emaciated domestic cattle are also grazing inside the field full of Taro plants. Notice the haystack which is like a fodder reserve for cattle in leaner months. This is a common sight in most of the rural households in India. The taro plants give edible underground stem for both livestock and humans. The stalk and leaves are also used as food for livestock depending on the livestock.
