A walk through the Himalayan forest brings three colourful birds. A Greater yellownape clings to a mossy tree trunk beside its hollow, with its yellow nape showing, and goes inside to eat an insect. Nearby, a Rufous Sibia (Heterophasia capistrata) sits on a perch with its black crest raised, looking around alertly and calling. A White-capped Redstart (Phoenicurus leucocephalus), with its bright white crown and chestnut belly, rests in the sun on a rock and enjoys a spot of sunbathing.
