Even avid birders claim its hard to spot an Asian Koel because of the species' preference for dense foliage. These species are also known for their brood parasitic behaviour and the distinct sexual dimorphism. Their calls are distinct and they are easily recognizable because of their red/crimson eyes. You are in luck as we bring you the female Asian Koel up close. The lone female is seen grooming on a small brach.
