Demoiselle Cranes at the Chugga ghar in Kheechan, in Rajasthan, India. An arid agricultural field that becomes home for visiting Cranes during the winter months. Painted Storks, Lesser, Median and Greater Egrets in Gujarat reservoir. Painted Stork is a large wading bird in the stork family. Scientific name of Painted Stork is Mycteria leucocephala. It is found in the wetlands of the plains of tropical Asia south of the Himalayas in South Asia and extending into Southeast Asia. This large stork has a heavy yellow bill with a down-curved tip. Painted Storks feed in groups in shallow wetlands. Ibis is a long-legged wading bird in the family Threskiornithidae. Ibis has long down curved bills, and usually feed as a group.
