Sulphur Gaeana is observed in the Jabarkhet region near Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. Often referred to as a butterfly cicada because of its striking appearance, the insect displays a black body and bright yellow-and-black patterned wings. This species belongs to the cicada family and is found across the Himalayan foothills and other parts of South and East Asia. The footage highlights the distinctive coloration and body structure that make this cicada easily recognizable. The video documents a native insect species of the Himalayan region in its natural surroundings. It provides a close look at one of the more visually distinctive cicadas found in northern India.
