A Plain Tiger (Danaus chrysippus) butterfly is resting on a small wildflower while feeding on nectar in a natural outdoor habitat. The butterfly displays bright orange wings bordered with black margins and white spots near the wing tips. Its black body features distinct white spotting on the head and thorax, characteristic of the species. The insect is perched on a thin, curved green stem attached to a small yellow and white flowering plant. Plain Tiger butterflies are commonly found across grasslands, gardens, agricultural fields, and open countryside throughout South Asia and Africa. The footage captures nectar-feeding behaviour and close details of the butterfly’s wing patterns and resting posture.
