A Himalayan Black Bulbul (Hypsipetes leucocephalus) feeding on small berries in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The bird moves from branch to branch, picking and eating the ripe berries from a wild tree while searching for more food among the foliage. The Himalayan Black Bulbul is easy to recognise by its dark grey plumage, short black crest, and bright coral-red bill and legs. It is commonly found in the forests of the Himalayas, where it feeds on fruits, berries, nectar, and insects. Fruit-bearing trees like this provide an important food source, especially when berries are in season.
