Wire tailed Swallow feeds its chicks, when the parent bird arrives the three chicks opens their mouth to receive the the food. The parent bird flies down to its nest and feeds its chicks. Thanks to Meenakshi Pundeer for hosting these lovely birds in her family's Himalayan Haat, and for helping us film them! The Wire-tailed Swallow is a small passerine bird in the swallow family. It breeds in Africa south of the Sahara and in tropical southern Asia from the Indian subcontinent east to southeast Asia. It is mainly resident, but populations in Pakistan and northern India migrate further south in winter. This bird is found in open country near water and human habitation.
