Sanjana Kapoor says "It's a very exciting festival because of every single play that is premiering in the festival and we have 18 plays productions. So its a big risk for us, for the groups and for the audience because people ask me what should they see and I have no idea. We do have an idea because we have spoken to the directors and writers and we know what the background is and what the plays are about but I have not seen the plays. We are churning up 18 new productions which even in the year to get the parallel theatre in Mumbai to throw up 18 productions is a big achievement." Sanjana Kapoor was born in 1967 as Sanjana Shashi Kapoor. She is an actress, known for Hero Hiralal (1988), 36 Chowringhee Lane (1981) and Kab Tak Pukaroon (1985). She is married to Valmik Thapar.
