Sanjana Kapoor says "Well, the most exciting factor of the festival this year is that we have requested the theatre groups in Bombay to premier their shows. So it's really exciting but we tried a festival like this in 1999 and it was a huge success where we had 18 productions premiering their shows then. This year we have 21 groups premiering their shows of Indian scripts." Sanjana Kapoor was born in 1967 as Sanjana Shashi Kapoor. She is an actress, known for Hero Hiralal (1988), 36 Chowringhee Lane (1981) and Utsav (1984). She is married to Valmik Thapar. They have one child. She was previously married to Aditya Bhattacharya.
