Indian film and stage actor and director Naseeruddin Shah is an integral member of Prithvi Theatre Film Festival in Mumbai. He speaks on his role in theatre saying," When Prithvi theatre was founded 24 years ago, there was not so much Hindi theatre activities. At that time also I used to usually theatres in English only. and I started doing Hindi theatre after a very long time. A huge kind of inspiration small theatre guys received when this thing was founded- who could not entertain the audiences anywhere else, there was no NCPA. The people who used to spend the money from their own pockets due to their love of theatre as they had no resources for earning, only there was a madness in them that they had to the theatre, a belief in the work they are doing, for them this theatre turned out t
