This Streaked Laughing Thrush is looking a little panicky and calling very loudly and frequently. Is it possible that someone or something has come too close to its nest? Laughing thrushes are noisy birds, and the characteristic laughing calls are often the best indication that these birds are present. The Streaked Laughing Thrush (Trochalopteron lineatum) is a species of bird in the Leiothrichidae family. It is commonly found in the northern regions of the Indian Subcontinent and some adjoining areas, ranging across Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, and Tajikistan. The subspecies imbricatum is usually considered a separates species, Bhutan Laughing Thrush.
