A green treehopper-like insect, likely Darthula hardwicki, perched on the tip of a leaf in Motidhar, Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India. The insect is notable for its unusual long upward-pointing horn or tail-like projection extending from its body, a characteristic feature used for camouflage and defense.
