This close-up wildlife footage captures a wild colony of honey bees (Apis sp.) clustering around the entrance of their nest inside a dark drainage pipe embedded within a weathered stone wall. Numerous worker bees continuously crawl along the rim of the pipe, move in and out of the tunnel, and explore the rough rock surface surrounding the entrance as part of their daily colony activity. The nesting site is surrounded by patches of green moss, dried grasses, and small wild plants growing from crevices in the stone, creating a natural habitat for the colony. The footage highlights the busy behaviour of the bees as they maintain and defend their concealed nest entrance in an outdoor environment.
