A Jungle Myna is perched on a thin bare tree branch while preening its feathers in a natural outdoor setting. The bird displays a small tuft of feathers on its forehead, forming a short frontal crest characteristic of the species. Its bright orange-yellow beak, pale yellow eyes, and vivid yellow legs are clearly visible during the grooming behaviour. Jungle Mynas are commonly found across the Indian subcontinent in agricultural areas, gardens, woodland edges, and urban environments. Preening helps maintain feather condition and removes dirt or parasites from the plumage. The soft, natural background highlights the bird’s posture and detailed physical features while resting on the branch.
