So many cranes in flight that they darken the sky in day time! Hordes of Demoiselle Cranes fly into India to enjoy the balmy winter months compared to their trans-Himalayan frozen-over winter habitats. They are sheltered and fed by the Bishnoi people of Rajasthan who have been doing this for centuries. They often spend on buying grain for the cranes at the cost of cutting down on their own family's food supplies. Whoever said wildlife and human beings cannot exist, that too the warmth shown to migratory visitors!
