The Himalayan Pied Woodpecker nonses around on a wild pear tree, eating into the fruit of the pear with its sharp beak. Meanwhile, along comes a Rufous Siba and does the same, both partaking of this wild forest fruit tree in the wildfilmsindia sanctuary at Jabbarkhet in Uttarakhand. A White-throated Laughing Thrush comes along, and sits on a deodar branch nearby but chooses to proceed to the flowering wild Prunus Himalayan cherry tree, looking for flowers, nectar and insects drawn to the flowers. Even the Laughing Thrush ends up on the pear tree - no bird can hold back on the lovely wild yet tiny pears! Right at the end of this clip, a Common Hll Partrdieg or peora starts whistling its call!
