A Spotted Owlet (Athene brama) is seen peeking out from a circular hollow in a tree trunk. The bird rests within the cavity, using it as a safe shelter. Its round face and bright eyes are visible as it looks outward, while one eye slowly begins to close, suggesting a moment of rest or drowsiness.
