A male Oriental Magpie-Robin (Copsychus saularis) around its tree hollow nest. The bird first flies to the entrance of the nest cavity, pauses briefly, and then flies away. After a short while, it returns to the same tree hollow, enters the nest, and later comes back out before settling on a nearby branch covered with green leaves. The male Oriental Magpie-Robin is recognised by its glossy black head, back, and upperparts, contrasting with its bright white underparts and bold white wing patch. This common songbird is often seen in gardens, forests, parks, and wooded areas, where it nests in natural tree cavities and feeds mainly on insects and other small invertebrates.
