Himalayan Gorals resting in high-altitude grasslands

Two Himalayan Gorals (Nemorhaedus goral) resting peacefully on a steep grassy hillside in their natural Himalayan habitat. The foreground animal remains alert while reclining among the vegetation, displaying its stocky grey-brown coat, a distinctive dark stripe running along the spine, white markings around the throat and ears, and short backwards-curving horns. Higher up the slope, a second goral lies partially concealed within the dense green grass, blending remarkably well with the surrounding landscape. Native to the rugged Himalayan mountains, these agile goat-like ruminants are well adapted to rocky cliffs and steep terrain, where they spend much of their time resting, grazing, and remaining vigilant against predators.
