A vibrant Rose-ringed Parakeet, also known as the Indian Ringneck Parakeet, enjoys a feast among the branches of a sacred Peepal Tree With its bright green plumage and striking red beak, the parakeet moves skillfully through the foliage, plucking small fruits from the Peepal tree. This individual appears to be a female or immature bird, lacking the distinctive rose-and-black neck ring seen in adult males. Peepal trees provide an important food source for many birds, and Rose-ringed Parakeets are among their most enthusiastic visitors.
