Two ground-dwelling bird species moving through dense vegetation at Wilderness Orchard, India. A male Common Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) is visible roaming among bushes and low greenery, displaying its iridescent blue-green head, red facial wattles, coppery-golden plumage, and white neck ring. A Grey Francolin (Ortygornis pondicerianus) is also present within the habitat, partially concealed by foliage. Both birds belong to the pheasant family and are commonly associated with scrublands, grasslands, and forest-edge environments. The dense green vegetation provides cover and foraging space for these terrestrial birds. The footage documents the movement and habitat use of two distinct ground bird species.
