wildfilmsindia interviews Valmik in 1992, at his Chanakyapuri residence. Valmik Thapar says "If you look at the original objective of Project Tiger and looking at it today because one has to look at these things as they exist in the present tense. I think that out of 18 projects Tiger reserves at least nine of them cannot be seen to have fulfilled the original objectives of project Tiger whether it concerned the habitat, the sustainability of the Tiger population or these areas in terms of their education and enjoyment for people.
