In the Wilderness Orchard Garden, a White-breasted Waterhen (Amaurornis phoenicurus) is observed bathing in a shallow water patch surrounded by aquatic vegetation. The bird moves through the water, using it for cleaning and cooling. Green water plants are visible around the edges, indicating a small wetland microhabitat. Nearby, an Asian koel (Eudynamys scolopaceus) is perched on a tree, partially obscured by stems and branches. The koel remains stationary, scanning its surroundings from an elevated position. The scene shows two bird species utilising different layers of the same habitat. Natural daylight highlights the water surface and the surrounding vegetation.
