A pair of Grey-capped Pygmy Woodpeckers (Yungipicus canicapillus) actively foraging together on the trunk of a large forest tree. The birds move methodically over the bark, probing cracks and crevices with their bills in search of insects and larvae hidden beneath the surface. During the sequence, one bird briefly passes food to the other, a behaviour commonly associated with pair bonding or courtship feeding. They continue searching the tree together, remaining close to one another as they inspect different sections of the trunk. The footage documents both their cooperative foraging behaviour and their interaction in a natural forest habitat.
