A Red-vented Bulbul (Pycnonotus cafer) is perched on the upper branches of a small tree covered with narrow feathery green leaves. The bird is seen looking around alertly against a light overcast sky in a natural outdoor setting. Its dark head, scaly brown body plumage, and distinctive red vent beneath the tail are characteristic features of the species. Red-vented Bulbuls are commonly found across gardens, orchards, urban parks, and woodland edges throughout the Indian subcontinent.
