A Rose-ringed Parakeet (Psittacula krameri) is captured in close-up while feeding on neem fruits (nimboli) on a neem tree (Azadirachta indica). The bird uses its curved beak with precision to pluck the small fruits and skillfully peel them. It carefully extracts the edible seed inside while discarding the outer layer. This feeding behaviour highlights the intelligence and dexterity of the species. The parakeet remains perched among the branches, balancing as it handles the fruit.
