This leopard has brought down an antelope that is twice its weight. The female nilgai has a blue tongue due to asphyxiation. The leopard chases off a thieving magpie - actually an Indian Tree, and visits the kill for its first bite. Note that leopard always start consuming a kill from the neck (while tigers generally start from the rump!). To savour its kill, the leopard licks the belly of the nilgai with its rough tongue. A few hours later and the hungry leopard has dug well into the rib cage.
