The spectacular mountain town of Joshimath, also known as Jyotirmath, nestled on the steep slopes of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand. Perched at an elevation of nearly 1,900 meters, the town is surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes and serves as a vital gateway to some of India's most revered pilgrimage and trekking destinations. The aerial perspective reveals a dense cluster of colorful homes, hotels, and commercial buildings spread across the mountainside. Winding roads weave through the settlement, connecting neighborhoods that cling to the rugged Himalayan terrain.
