It is a part of elephant nature to migrate and move with the seasons and food availability, so when elephants cut across villages, they cause panic among human beings, and get attacked and threatened. In turn, they end up damaging village homes and even accidentally attacking the odd human being, despite not intending to do so. The end result in classic wildlife - human conflict, and no one ends up happy. Elephants deserve migration corridors and humans have ended up using up all the available space on earth.
