'Human-elephant Conflict' is a common phenomenon in states in India where the elephant population is huge. The ensuing encounters often cause a lot of property damages and loss of lives in states like West Bengal. These are instances of elephants venturing into human territory and residents trying to chase the elephants off. Vehicle sirens, shout and loud noises from afar to scare the big animals. A herd of elephants is filmed walking inside a paddy field as desperate farmers try to chase them off. Loss of habitat for elephants has resulted in the large mammals venturing into human habitats looking for food.
