Big herds of elephants are seen crossing highways through the animal corridor in West Bengal. The Indian elephant herds complete with male, female, juveniles are seen rushing from one side of the forest to the other through the highway. The presence of humans near their crossing corridor seems to make them nervous. Notice how they rush when there are no trees to shield them. Local residents are seen making homemade devices to chase the elephants if they step into their area. Some of the elephants are herded away towards the forest after they ventured into nearby human settlements.
