An Orchard Spider (Leucauge genus) suspended upside down on its web in a garden or forest-edge habitat. The spider remains relatively still while positioned beneath the web, waiting for insects or other small prey to become trapped. Its web provides an elevated hunting position, allowing it to detect movement and respond when potential prey reaches the silk.
