A Rufous Sibia (Heterophasia capistrata) perched on a tree branch in a Himalayan forest. The bird pauses on a moss-covered branch while carefully scanning its surroundings before continuing its search for food. The Rufous Sibia is easy to identify by its rich orange-brown body, black head with a slight crest, dark pointed bill, and long tail. It is commonly found in the temperate forests of the Himalayas, where it feeds on insects, berries, nectar, and small fruits. The footage captures the bird quietly observing its surroundings against the backdrop of a dense forest canopy.
