Mama and bachha party: Cute, shy, retiring with huge bulgy yellow nocturnal eyes: Stone Curlew with chicks. Look at those tiny wings as the kids try to stretch them to test their flying skills! Cutest bird babies you ever saw! Large yellow eyes of newly-born Eurasian Stone Curlew chicks, as seen at our wildfilmsindia sanctuary in Delhi. Mama Curlew stands guard as the chicks skulk and hide around her, having successfully hatched and survived the crucial first few days. Hiccuping up and down in the bright day time sunlight, this Curlew looks out of place in the open and in bright light.
