Thol wetland is home for birds like Greater and Lesser Flamingos, Northern Shoveler, Glossy Ibis, Grey Heron, Black headed ibis, Eurasian coot. The greater flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus) is the most widespread species of the flamingo family.
