A rare view of a Safed Teetar nesting on he ground, and sitting atop a clutch of eight cream coloured eggs. Shot in time lapse, she goes round and round the nest, and takes a full circle in the span of an hour of so... At first glance it might be confusing as to what this is. This is another example of nature's perfection that we managed to capture on film. The ground nester female Grey Francolin or Teetur sits on a batch of her eggs inside a bunch of grass. The nest and the female bird are perfectly hidden in plain sight. They usually lay 4-10 eggs and takes around 20 days to hatch. The female bird is also furiously feeding even while sitting inside the nest. We have a perfect shot of the bird's nest and eggs after the mother went off for food.
