See the lovely slate roofs of Garhwal! Intricately carved wooden pillars and serpent motifs on the walls cannot be missed... A sheep being forcefully taken to its shed by the women of Osla village of Uttarakhand. In the village a village tailor is sewing women's clothes, using a prized sewing machine, surrounded by a gaggle of young girls. The Someshwar temple is located in this village. This temple is India's only temple of Duryodhana, a sort of bad character of the Indian epic Mahabharata. Situated at an altitude of 2560 mtrs, Osla is one of the most beautiful villages in the Fateh parvat region. Here is a beautiful caved temple dedicated to Duryodhana, the eldest brother of Kauravas.
