Shabana Azmi: "My character, Swarnalata, is a classical singer who lives in a village. Her biggest dream is to perform at a concert. When she finally gets the opportunity to sing at a concert for the first time, she meets with a tragic accident. In that accident, her son dies, as does her closest friend. After this incident, she is overwhelmed with guilt. She believes that the tragedy happened because of her ambition to perform. As a result, she decides never to sing in concerts again. Later, Prakash Kovelamudi, who plays the young musician Abhinay, enters her life. He is a rock musician who has become frustrated with composing only advertising jingles. He wants to create music that has lasting meaning. He comes to the village, hears Swarnalata singing, and gradually persuades her to retur
