A Brown-headed Barbet is perched quietly among dense green foliage in a natural outdoor habitat. The bird displays a distinctly brown head marked with fine pale streaks across the plumage. Large dark eyes are surrounded by a noticeable orange-yellow patch of bare skin, a characteristic feature of the species. Its heavy reddish-brown to orange bill is adapted for feeding on fruits, berries, and insects. Green feathers covering the lower body contrast with the darker tones of the head and upper body. The footage captures the bird resting within thick vegetation typical of woodland and garden habitats across the Indian subcontinent.
